2. Riyan Parag:

After struggling to score for years in the lower order, Rajasthan Royals promoted Parag to number 4 and this move flipped the tables for the youngster.

3. Nitish Reddy:

The BCCI would want to groom Nitish as the potential bowling all-rounder. He scored 303 runs in 13 matches and picked three wickets for SRH in IPL 2024.

One of the most consistent youngsters, Tushar Deshpande has been consistently impressing cricket lovers with his wicket-taking skills for both CSK in IPL and Mumbai in domestic tournaments. Tushar has been picked while keeping the tracks in mind.

While the BCCI has called 7 IPL stars for India vs Zimbabwe series, two top IPL performers have been left out by the BCCI for the IND vs ZIM series. Yash Dayal of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Harshit Rana of Kolkata Knight Riders missed out on the BCCI selected Mukesh Kumar over these two because of his experience in death bowling and his ability to send down wide yorkers consistently.
