The tenth encounter of the Indian Premier League 2021 has started between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders where RCB has set a target of 205 runs for the Kolkata players. The Virat Kohli led side won the toss and opted to bat first and opened the match with Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal as their openers. However, Kohli didn’t stay on the filed for a long time as he was dismissed in the very first over. But, the partnership of AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell took the spotlight.

At the end of the innings, RCB ended up with 204/4. Now, chasing the target of 205 runs, KKR started their innings with a great style by sending Nitish Rana and Shubham Gill. However, Shubham was dismissed by Kyle Jamieson in the first over with 21 runs off 9 balls while Rana was sent off the field for 18 runs. As the game progresses, the KKR side seems to be off the hook as Royal Challengers Bangalore has picked back to back wickets from them.

After the dismissal of Rana and Gill, Rahul Tripathi took over the batting and scored 25 runs off 20 balls. Later on, as RCB seems to be dominating the match for now, Tripathi was sent off by Washington Sundar at the fifth over. Now the game is taking an interesting turn and it will be a tough assumption as to who wins the match.
