IPL 2021: Best playing XI prediction for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad will eye their second title in IPL 2021. SRH will play their first game against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 11.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is one of the most neutral consistent team of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They are the only team that has qualified for the playoffs every year since the past five seasons. Since SRH won the title in 2016, they have kept it obvious to be performing well and finishing among the top four.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad team has made a very fruitful outing in the last season of IPL in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The David Warner led side, in the last season of IPL, made it at the third position and couldn’t make it to the finals.

For the much awaited upcoming season, the Orange Army will start their IPL 2021 journey on April 11 against Kolkata Knight Riders at MA Chidambadam Stadium in Chennai. During the IPL 2021 auctions, SRH bought only three players. The franchise roped in former CSK player Kedar Jadhav and Jagadeesha Suhith to make their middle order stronger. They also picked Mujeeb Ur Rehman, the Afghanistan star, as a spinner.

So, let’s look at the ideal playing XI for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021:

Openers: The opening slot would be given to the skipper David Warner and attacking batsman Jonny Bairstow. Bairstow is in red-hot form and SRH could make a proper use of him in IPL 2021.Bairstow has exhibited a high class batting in the white ball series against India, whereas there isn’t a single season where Warner has scored less than 500 runs.

Middle order: The kiwi star is a huge servant of SRH. He has played 12 matches last year where he scored 317 runs in total, smashing three half tons as well. Another crucial aspect in SRH’s middle order could be Manish Pandey. The Karnataka right handed batsman had a phenomenal season in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He managed to score 425 runs in 16 matches with three half centuries to his name.

All-rounders: The lower middle order has always been a problem for SRH and seems like in the upcoming IPL 2021, they would get rid of the concern. With the likes of Rashid Khan, Abdul Samad, SRH could ignore the concern.

Bowlers: The main highlight of the Sunrisers Hyderabad has been the bowling department. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was able to play only four matches last year due to his injury. In IPL 2021, Bhuvi will once again lead the bowling unit with T Natarajan, Siddharth Kaul and Sandeep Sharma.

Here’s Sunrisers Hyderabad’s strongest playing XI: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Abdul Samad, Jagadeesha Suchith, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Siddharth Kaul and Sandeep Sharma.
