IPL 2021: Centurian Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli blows away RR as RCB registers 4th win, check out Twitter reactions

Devdutt Padikkal scored a tremendous century in the RCB vs RR encounter on Thursday.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has registered their fourth win of the IPL 2021 season till date, with Devdutt Padikkal and his stupendous performance, after they thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, April 22. Chasing 178, RCB showed complete domination as they did not lose any wickets and gain the victory.

Opener Devdutt Padikkal shined with the bat as he slammed his first century in the ongoing tournament. He stayed uneaten on 101 from 52 deliveries including eleven fours and six maximums at an incredible strike rate of 194.23. With him, captain Virat Kohli supported the team and sored 72 from 47 balls, featuring six fours and 3 sixes.

Earlier in the game, Shivam Dube and Rahul Tewatia scored some valuable knocks of 46 and 0 respectively and took RR to 177/9 in their 20 overs. RCB’s Mohammed Siraj was the most strong bowler, as he picked up as many as three wickets for just 32 runs. Harshal Patel also took a three wicket haul but ended up conceding 47 runs.
