IPL 2021: Congress MP, Shashi Tharoor praises Malayali boys Devdutt Padikkal and Sanju Samson performance in IPL, Check Out!!!

Veteran politician and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor took to twitter to applaud Samson’s and Padikkal innings. Tharoor has been a vocal supporter of the Kerala cricket and this time he congratulated to both of the Malayalis batsman to score triple digit runs in the biggest T20 league of the world.

The thrill of IPL 2021 is at its peak. In the early stages of the IPL, the audience has also witnessed two explosive centuries In this IPL. The maiden century of Indian Premier League 2021 is scored by Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson and the credit for scoring the second century goes to RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal.

“How amazing that both the centuries in this year’s #IPL have been scored by Malayalis when Kerala has so long been regarded as a cricketing backwater! Congratulations @devdpd07 for joining @IamSanjuSamson as the only two to cross the hundred mark so far this year” Tharoor tweeted.

 

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Devdutt Padikkal smashed his maiden IPL century against the Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.
Padikkal set up RCB’s chase with a stellar 100 coming off just 51 deliveries. The elegant left-hander launched six sixes and 11 fours. He reached the milestone with a pristine drive-through extra cover for four. He finished unbeaten on 101 as RCB beat RR by 10 wickets.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson scored the first century of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season.
Sanju, who was making his debut as Royals skipper made a breathtaking 119 off 63 balls, but his efforts went in vain as his team went down to the KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings by four runs in the last ball of Match 4 of IPL 2021 played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
