IPL 2021: DADA compliments Indian’s ability to improvise, adapt and overcome through any situation
Another season of the most beloved T20 league among all, VIVO IPL 2021 is scheduled to start from 9th Of April. Unlike the previous one, this season is scheduled to take place in India itself but the common factor that remains the same, is the “Bio-Secure” bubble model.
Bio-Secure Bubble model prevents players of all the teams to meet people from meeting outside, as a precautionary measure to curb the slightest of the chance of COVID-19.
BCCI Chief, Sourav Ganguly understands the pain of confining players but stresses on to saying about Indians’ more tolerance-friendly nation and natives know how to procure these.
“I feel we Indians are a bit more tolerant than overseas (cricketers). I’ve played with a lot of Englishmen, Australians, West Indians, they just give up on mental health. In the last six-seven months, with so much cricket being going on in the bio-bubble it’s so tough. Just going from the hotel room to the ground, handle the pressure and come back to the room and then get back to the ground again, it’s an absolutely different life”, Ganguly said.
This edition of IPL and the risk factor involved here is immense and a trick/tough trick to pull out of the hat kind of feel. Amidst, India reporting 1Lac cases daily, the concern is exposure to the Bio Secure bubble, which the officials need to scrutinize, seriously.
