IPL 2021: Disappointing day for MI as Pandya brothers fail once again
Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya went early as the duo weren’t able to give the finish their team needed badly.
It was a hard day in the batting unit for the Mumbai Indians as they could only manage to score 131 runs after their 20 overs. After the faulty and slow start, the skipper Rohit Sharma took the charge and notched up a half-century. He left his team at a position where a good finish would have surely given the team a fighting total. The onus in these ending overs was on the Pandya brothers- Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya. Both of them have had very bad previous few games and their team wanted them to perform well but it turned out to be another disappointing day for the 2 as they went inside the single figures.
The team has been pretty much reliant on the two for good finishes so far but things are not falling into place from the last two games.
The duo will have to find ways to dig deep into their batting and deliver what their team needs for them.
