IPL 2021: Faf Du Plessis completes 6000 runs in T20 career

The South African skipper started off with CSK in 2011 and has been its part since then, apart from the period when it was banned where he played for Rising Pune Supergiants but was brought back in 2018.

The South African skipper Faf Du Plessis had a special day as he set off a major milestone by reaching 6000 runs in T20. After making his in 2012 against England, he has played for various T20 teams in various T20 leagues.

In IPL, he has been one of the prominent players for CSK over the years and continues to be one of the players to have the most successful debut season in the league. His highest score has been 96 which came in the 2019 season.

Faf’s highest score at the International stage has been 119 with 1528 runs in 50 matches. He has been one of the players who can win matches in difficult situations. From leading his team to winning matches Faf has always been an integral part of any team he has played for so far.
