IPL 2021: KKR’s Twitter handle shares Russell’s picture of perfection

A great news comes up for Kolkata Knight Riders’s fans as Andre Russel steps on field as he is done with the mandatory seven days quarantine period. Russelljoined his squad for practice sessions ahead of the 14th season of IPL which is scheduled to begin from 9th Aptil.

Russell, 32, had avery disappointing IPL 2020 season, as he was able to score only 117 runs in nine innings at an average and strike rate of 13 and 144.44 respectively. Whereas as bowler, Russell’s six wickets had come at an average and economy rate of 29.16 and 9.72 respectively.

Andre Russell, who will be a part of the IPL season for the seventh time in a row for Knight Riders, will surely have a role in the playing eleven, despite his performance in the last season. In a total of 57 IPL innings for KKR since 2014, Russell’s score alone stands at 1,459 runs and has dismissed 60 batsman altogether.
