Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli completed his 6000 runs in the Indian Premier League in his match against the Rajasthan Royals. Kohli made his debut for RCB 13 years back in 2008 and since then it has been history for the Indian skipper.

IN 2008, Kohli was inducted into the RCB squad and started captaining the side in the year 2013. In the year 2016, he sat atop on the leading run-scorers list, thereby winning the Orange Cap at the end of the ninth edition of the league. The highest-paid cricketer in IPL, Virat Kohli was the first one to be retained by his franchise ahead of the IPL 2018 Player Auction and will continue to lead his side.

The skipper still holds the record for scoring the most centuries in an IPL season i.e. in the year 2016 where he scored 4 tons.

With this Virat Kohli also became the first cricketer to reach 6000 runs in IPL. He reached this milestone in the 13th over his innings while chasing a total of 177.

The batting maestro would surely be delighted to reach a milestone like this and would look forward to continuing his run of form.
