IPL 2021: Players with most number of ducks in Indian Premier League
The Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen runs galore in every edition. Every year we get to see a cricket carnival with a lot of boundaries and centuries, which leave fans craving for more. Players create records in the IPL every season and establish themselves. However, sometimes players also create unwanted records.
Getting out without contributing to the scorecard is perhaps one of the most frustrating things in cricket. The walk back to the pavilion seems longer and full of embarrassment and frustration after getting out for a ‘Duck. ’The only thing worse than getting out for a Duck is to get out for a ‘Golden Duck’. One thing for sure, no batsmen in the world will want their name up in the list of most Ducks. It is a record that every cricketer will shy away from.
There are some of the great batsmen in the IPL who have scored many runs, but also there are some batsmen who made a record with getting out many times. We are not talking here about the bowlers, it does not make a big deal if a bowler gets out on zero, but it does when a batsman gets out without scoring a single run. We have five batsmen who got duck out for most of the times in the history of the IPL.
So let’s have a look at the 5 players having the most number of ducks in the biggest T20 franchise cricket extravaganza:
