The teams’ top order collapsed in the powerplay after they lost 4 wickets in the initial overs but they managed to set up a fighting total at 177/9 after their 20 overs.

Rajasthan Royals had a nightmare in their innings against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The former champions lost 4 wickets inside 50 runs that too of Manan Vohra, Jos Butler, David Miller, and Sanju Samson. At one stage it looked as if the team won’t even cross the 100 run mark, but thanks to their middle and lower middle-order batsmen who took the charge and consolidated many runs to set up a good total

The teams’ top order collapsed in the powerplay after they lost 4 wickets in the initial overs but they managed to set up a fighting total at 177/9 after their 20 overs.

The stars of the show were Shivam Dube, Riyan Parag, and Rahul Tewatia.

Shivam Dube scored 46 runs off 32 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes, Riyan Parag made a little cameo with 25 runs off 16 balls with 4 fours and the innings got a fine finish with Rahul Tewatia’s 40 runs to knock off just 23 balls which included 4 fours and 2 sixes.

The team has surely found a new life in this match after scoring such a fighting total in the first innings and they would surely look forward to defending these targets against the big guns of RCB.
