As the league is suspended for an indefinite time period because of players and staff testing positive for Coronavirus, International players have started getting back on flights to return to their home country as the situation in India is getting worse each day.

IPL’s sensational spinner Afghanistan bowler Rashid Khan headed home today as the league was suspended, the player left for his home country with a heartfelt message for the Orange army fans asking them to stay home and take care of themselves while praying for the safe return of other players and a hopeful message of seeing everyone soon.

Rashid Khan wrote in his post, ” Really unfortunate that the IPL2021 had to be postponed. But I am glad to put the safety of each and everyone first, I hope everyone reaches home safely and the world fights and beats this pandemic as soon as possible. Stay safe wear a mask and wash your hands . C U Soon”.
