IPL 2021 suspended for now as new COVID-19 cases found in DC camp

IPL 2021 suspended for now but will get reschedule said BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla.

This season of IPL has been suspended stated by BCCI vice president Rajeev Shukla. Yesterday’s match was postponed and the whole team of Delhi Capitals is in quarantine because they came in contact with Kolkata Knight Riders members whose members Chakravarthy and Warier tested positive for the COVID-19  and now two more Cricketers Wriddhiman Saha of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Amit Mishra of Delhi capitals tested positive for COVID-19.

Due to this severe condition of the COVID-19 pandemic BCCI has postponed this season of IPL 2021. As many questions are raised on this season of IPL which is held in this severe situation of COVID-19 pandemic.

League chairperson Brijesh Patel says to PTI ” Indian Premier League suspended indefinitely after multiple COVID-19 cases in its bio-bubble”. It is said by the chairperson of the league that IPL 2021 has been canceled for an indefinite period.

Many IPL  playeds have tested positive for COVID-19 till now and due to which other team members who have played with that team whose team members tested positive have to isolate themselves.
