IPL each and every year churns up a lot of young talents, for all format of crickets and over the last two seasons, one name that has impressed all is Kolkata Knight Riders’ Varun Chakravarthy.

Varun Chakravarthy continued his impressive form in match no. 21 against Punjab Kings, in which he played the role of piling up the pressure on Punjab Kings batsman. Varun Chakravarthy, last seasons wonder finding for the Kolkata baser side, ended up his spell of 4 in which he just conceded run-a-ball runs, i.e. 24 and picked up a crucial wicket of Nicholas Pooran.

The dismissal of Pooran was beautiful to watch as a bowler, in which he plucked out Pooran’s off stump, while Pooran was looking all good thus far.

Varun Chakravarthy, in this season of IPL, has taken 7 wickets in 6 matches played thus far with an average of 26.83. Last season he had a Purple patch of a season in which he took 17 wickets.

Although he didn’t take most of the wickets in this innings, his tight spell, bluffed up PBKS batsman.
