IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli and explosive batsman AB de Villiers have reached Chennai to join the team’s camp. RCB gave information about this on Thursday. RCB shared the picture of both the players on its official Twitter handle.

Bangalore’s team has not been able to win the IPL title even once. However, there are very strong batsmen in this team, who can turn the match at any time on their own. This time the fans of Bangalore will be hoping that the team performs well and gets the title in its name.

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will stay in the seven-day quarantine and then join the team. Apart from him, the rest of the team members have started their training at Sri Ramachandra Higher Education and Research Institute here. Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahmed, Pawan Deshpande, Mohammad Azharuddin, Rajat Patidar, Sachin Baby, Suyash Prabhudesai and KS Bharat are participating in the team’s training camp.

The nine-day conditioning camp of RCB is being run under the guidance of Cricket Operations Director Mike Hewson and head coach Simon Katich. Sanjay Bangar, S Sreedharan, Adam Griffith, Shankar Basu, and Malolan Rangarajan are the other members of the coaching staff in the team. RCB is scheduled to play their first match in IPL 2021 with defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai on April 9.
RCB qualified for the playoffs last season, where it finished fourth. The team was defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets in the eliminator.
