Sunrisers Hyderabad’s decision to bench T. Natrajan in SRH vs MI has not gone well with fans. Speculations are spreading as cricket fans look for possible explanations to drop him in this crucial face-off.
T. Natrajan was unarguably the most prestigious bowler at SRH as his performance at the premier league last year had been a contributing factor to SRH’s performance. This season he had picked up two wickets in the first two matches.
Some believe that SRH has been shocked by its loss to RCB and has made changes to its line-up solely because of that reason. However, Tom Moody, director of cricket at SRH has said that Natrajan has been rested due to the immense workload.
Apart from benching Natrajan, SRH has made three more changes which had already been hinted at by Skipper David Warner after losing terribly to RCB.
