The 65th match of IPL 2025 took place on May 23 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, where Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) faced Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Match Overview: RCB vs SRH at Ekana Stadium

RCB won the toss and chose to bowl. Jitesh Sharma captained RCB as Rajat Patidar was unfit to field and played only as an impact sub. Despite taking wickets at intervals, RCB bowlers struggled, and SRH posted a strong total of 231/6.

Ishan Kishan starred with an unbeaten 94 off 48 balls, supported by Abhishek Sharma (34), Aniket Verma (26), and Heinrich Klaasen (24).

RCB started the chase well with Phil Salt (62) and Virat Kohli (43), reaching 173/3. But a sudden collapse followed Patidar’s dismissal, and RCB were all out for 189, losing by 42 runs.
For SRH, Pat Cummins led the bowling with 3 wickets.
