Riyan Parag hit a brilliant Helicopter shot, just like MS Dhoni, during the IPL 2025 match between RR and PBKS in Mullanpur. The right-handed batter finished unbeaten on 43* off 25 balls, with 3 fours and 6s. His knock was crucial in helping RR finish strong, especially in the death overs, alongside Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel.

Riyan Parag’s Stunning Helicopter Shot Against Marco Jansen

Marco Jansen tried to bowl a yorker to Parag but missed, making the ball fuller and wider of the pads. Parag took advantage and hit the ball for a helicopter shot over deep fine leg, earning six runs. The crowd cheered as Parag played the spectacular shot.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) benefited from Riyan Parag’s powerful finish. After Nitish Rana’s dismissal, RR was at 138/3 in 14.4 overs. In the final 32 balls, RR scored 67 runs, losing just one wicket. Parag was supported by Hetmyer, who scored 20 runs off 12 balls, and Jurel, who remained unbeaten on 13* off 5 balls. Together, they helped RR set a total of 205/4 on the board.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) carried their momentum from the batting innings into the field. They picked up wickets easily in the powerplay. In the very first over, Jofra Archer was on fire, taking the wickets of Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyer.

Sandeep Sharma then dismissed Marcus Stoinis, leaving PBKS struggling at 26/3 in 3.3 overs. When Prabhsimran Singh was out to Kumar Kartikeya, PBKS were at 43/4 after 6.2 overs. At this point, RR had a strong grip on the match.
