Kohli tried to hit it over extra cover but didn’t connect well. The ball hit high on the bat and went up in the air, leading to his dismissal.

Virat Kohli played a brilliant knock, scoring 70 runs from just 42 balls. He batted with a high strike rate of over 166 and hit eight fours and two sixes during his time at the crease.

Along with him, Devdutt Padikkal also played an important role. The left-handed batter scored 50 runs from 27 balls. He hit four fours and three sixes, batting with an impressive strike rate of over 185.

Later in the innings, Tim David scored 23 runs, and Jitesh Sharma remained not out with 20 runs. Their efforts helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru reach a total of 205 runs.

For the Rajasthan Royals, Sandeep Sharma took two wickets, while Jofra Archer and Wanindu Hasaranga got one wicket each. RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, is still looking for its first home win this season and will be hoping to change that in this match.
