IPL 2026 is finally entering the final phase of the league stage, with three teams – Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) securing their playoff spot, while the race to seal the fourth spot is still underway between Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders.
As per the IPL rules, the team in the top two spots will play Qualifier 1, while the third and fourth teams will play the Eliminator. The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator will play Qualifier 2.
Who will play IPL 2026 Qualifier 1?
After SRH’s 55-run win over RCB, the teams for Qualifier 1 have been confirmed. Although RCB, GT, and SRH have 18 points each, RCB, with better NRR, tops the standings, followed by GT and SRH.
As a result, Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans.

The Qualifier 1 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) will be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

The Qualifier 1 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Gujarat Titans will begin at 7:30 p.m. IST, while the toss will take place at 7:00 p.m.
