  • Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul (LSG)

Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul maintain the record for the greatest opening partnership, adding an undefeated 210 against KKR in the Indian Premier League 2022. De Kock was on fire, trying to smash an undefeated record 140 off just 70 deliveries, while the LSG captain provided the perfect antidote, having scored 68 runs off just 51 deliveries. This was also the greatest wicket-to-wicket alliance in Indian premier league history against KKR.

  • Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (RCB)

The highest second-wicket partnership is a career-high total of 229 runs. Mr. 360 and The Run Machine, the IPL’s two strongest hitters, have reached this benchmark. In that game, AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli both scored centuries and made batting appear straightforward. Both batsmen had barging innings against the Gujarat Lions in Bangalore in 2016.

  • Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube (CSK)

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) powerplay batting was dark and gloomy, and they were only 60 for two at the end of the 10th over. Then came one of the finest counter-punching knocks ever seen in the Indian Premier League (IPL) from either end of the crease, leaving Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers completely baffled. Shivam Dube and Indian premier league veteran Robin Uthappa smashed sixes and fours all over the park to not only stitch a 165-run stand but also to resurrect CSK, who finished their innings with a massive 216 for 4.

  • Shimron Hetmyer and Gurkeerat Singh (RCB)

The Royal Challengers Bangalore were struggling to recover at 20/3 after Kohli, Parthiv Patel, and AB de Villiers all tumbled in the first three overs. However, Guyanese batsman Hetmyer scored runs to secure the four-wicket victory. The fourth wicket stand with Gurkeerat was worth 144 runs. RCB looked shaky after they were dismissed, but Umesh Yadav knocked down back-to-back boundary lines off-spinner Mohammad Nabi to take the team home.
