This left-handed batter achieved this feat while competing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a game against the Pune Warriors in Bengaluru in 2013 by scoring an unbroken 175 runs off 66 balls, the highest total ever by a batsman in the IPL. As he took 2 wickets in the game, he not only played well with the bat but also with the ball. Gayle’s 175″ helped RCB reach a total of 263 runs; in contrast, Pune could only muster 133 runs; as a result, RCB prevailed by 130 runs.

2008 – Brendon McCullum – 158* Runs

The former captain of New Zealand, Brendon McCullum, finished the inaugural IPL season as the second highest-scoring batsman with 158* runs for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Only 196 runs could be scored in response, and Mumbai won the game by a score of 39 runs.

2020 – KL Rahul – 132* Runs

KL Rahul ranks fourth among all scorers with the most runs, and his 132 not out is the greatest score by an Indian in IPL history. He served as the captain of the Punjab Kings in 2020 and scored 132 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the sixth IPL match at Dubai (DSC). His unbeaten 132 runs enabled Punjab to add a total of 206 and were a key factor in Kings XI Punjab’s 97-run victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore. In just 36 balls, Rahul reached his maiden fifty, and in just 26 balls, he did the same for his second fifty.

2016 – AB de Villiers – 129* Runs

In response, Gujarat was bowled out for 104 runs after being unable to handle the pressure of such a large goal, allowing RCB to triumph by 144 runs.
