Indian cricket team won the first T20I against Ireland by 7 wickets on Sunday night in Dublin. It was an amazing performance by the Indian team. An all-round performance with bat and bowl help India take the lead against Ireland by 1-0 in these two-match T20Is.
It was Hardik Pandya’s first game as captain of Indian cricket team and he won it deservingly. His dream run as captain continues. No doubt this year is Hardik Pandya’s one of the best years in cricket. In the year 2020, he was also been dropped from the team, but he came back so strong that it is difficult now for the selectors and BCCI to keep him out of the playing XI.
This year Hardik Pandya became the captain for the first time in IPL and he made history by winning it for the new franchise named Gujarat Titans. Hardik was also the top-scorer for his team in the IPL 2022. On Sunday night against Ireland, he (Hardik Pandya) also became the first Indian captain to take a T20I wicket. Hardik also got his first win as Indian captain.
The Indian all-rounder will not forget this night as it was an amazing moment for him. The second T20I against Ireland will be played on 28th June, Tuesday at the same venue.
