Ireland’s wicketkeeper-batter, Lorcan Tucker, is gearing up with enthusiasm for the upcoming T20 International series against India. With the chance to face one of the world’s top cricket teams, Tucker aims to make a notable impact on the field.

Tucker’s own confidence has been further fueled by his recent remarkable performance in a domestic game, where he scored 133 off 93 balls. Reflecting on this achievement, he shared, “It’s brilliant to get that kind of energy, and that excitement, going into that big series.”
The three-match T20I series, scheduled for August 18, 20, and 23 in Dublin, has garnered significant attention. Cricket Ireland revealed that the first two matches have been sold out, reflecting the excitement among fans. The matches will also be broadcasted by the official broadcaster, TNT Sports, in Ireland and the UK.
Tucker emphasized the team’s experience in facing big games and their readiness to approach the series with confidence. He highlighted, “The team is quite experienced with these bigger games… We just want to make an impression, stay nice and relaxed and play with confidence.”
