England cricket team captain Jos Buttler has had his say on Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant who was exceptional throughout this series be it ODIs, T20Is or Test. Rishabh Pant also scored his maiden century in ODIs on Sunday, 17th July and took India to an emphatic victory against England by 5 wicket.
With this win, England lost the series against visitors India. England captain as well as wicket-keeper praised Rishabh Pant after the tour. Jos Buttler feels Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is a very cool and fearless player who loves to play exquisite shots all around the ground.
“Rishabh Pant is a fearless player, someone who is great to watch in all formats. It’s his mentality that sets him apart. He looks like he gets great backing,” said Jos Buttler on Rishabh Pant via espncricinfo.com.
Rishabh Pant was named ‘player of the match’ for his wonderful innings of 125* runs in just 113 balls in the last ODI which was played at Old Trafford cricket ground. Pant also scored a Test century in this tour during the last rescheduled Test match. Unfortunately that century came in a losing side. Indian cricket team will now have a tour to West Indies.
