Jack Wilshere has agreed to terms with Danish club Aarhus Gymnastikforening on a season-long loan. Wilshere has the option of extending his contract for another year and will report to training with his new teammates on Monday. He was handed the No. 10 jersey. The former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder has been without a club since being released by Bournemouth at the end of his contract last summer. The 30-year-old has been training with Arsenal and Italian club Como to keep healthy while looking for a new team.

“Since I started training at Arsenal, I have never concealed the fact that it was to be ready for 2022 and for a new club,” Wilshere remarked. “Now that the proper club has arrived, it will be a thrilling new task for me.” I am at a position in my work where I need to restart after a difficult period, and AGF has provided me with that chance. I am thankful, and I will do all in my power to live up to the expectations.”

“Jack need no additional introduction, and he has proven his worth on both the club and national levels over the last ten years,” he stated. So, when the chance to bring him to Aarhus arrived, we knew we had to take advantage of it. Jack can help with his superb technique and game sense, and he will provide us with some more offensive capabilities.
