Joel Glazer responds to Manchester United fans, apologises for mistakes made with the ESL
Joel Glazer has written about the upcoming developments and improvement in communication in a letter to Fan Forum’s
The Executive Co-Chairman of Manchester United wrote a letter to the fans and said that they want to work with the forum to develop the club. He also committed to further strengthening the team and increased investment in the stadium and training ground. He also accepted the mistake of joining the European Super League.
Joel said, ” I want to reassure you that my family and I care deeply about Manchester United and feel a profound sense of responsibility to protect and enhance its strength for the long term while respecting its value and tradition.”
Glazer said the club would “willingly and openly engage” with the fan-led review of football recently announced by the UK government, “to put fans at the heart of the game and ensure their interests are advanced and protected”.
The Fans’ Forum includes representatives from across the breadth of our match-going fan base, including Season Ticket holders, Members, Official Supporters’ Clubs, Family Stand fans, Over 65s, disabled supporters, and residents.
Earlier fans were protesting against the United Club owners for several issues and were blaming them for greed and ESL. The fans went furious when they received no apology from the club owners for the take on European Super League.
