Four days in the ICU were a test of both physical resilience and mental strength. “I was speaking with my girlfriend, with my dad, with Aleix [Espargaro] some days, and I was doubting if I was able to come back to a MotoGP bike.”

After months of recovery and a private test at Misano, Jorge Martin feels he is ready to compete again. He describes himself as “more prepared than ever” and has credited this comeback to discovering a deeper courage within himself. Aprilia, his team, is taking a measured approach: they’ve described this Czech Grand Prix return as “effectively his pre-season,” giving Martin time to get back up to speed as the season heads to its summer break.

At this stage, neither Martin nor his team are putting pressure on results; rebuilding confidence and race fitness is the priority.

Despite this, paddock observers like Marc Marquez are confident that Martin’s form will return sooner rather than later. “He will be fast in the second part of the season,” Marquez commented, recognizing Martin’s natural speed and determination.
