Kho Kho Season 2 Begins Dec 24 with Double Round-Robin Format

The excitement is palpable as hosts and defending champions, Odisha Juggernauts, gear up to take on Rajasthan Warriors in the opening match of Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2. Scheduled to commence on December 24, 2023, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, the tournament promises an electrifying display of the traditional sport.

In the second match of the day, runners-up from the inaugural season, Telugu Yoddhas, are set to face Mumbai Khiladis, eyeing redemption and a step further in their Season 2 journey. The 30-match league stage, lasting from December 24 to January 9, 2024, will witness intense clashes between the six participating teams.

Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2, promoted by Amit Burman in collaboration with the Kho Kho Federation of India, is poised to deliver thrilling action following the success of its inaugural season. Notably, it has secured Series A funding from the UK-based BNP Group, marking a significant milestone for the league in Indian sports.

The tournament features a six-team lineup, including Chennai Quick Guns, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Khiladis, Odisha Juggernauts, Rajasthan Warriors, and Telugu Yoddhas. The league stage operates on a double round-robin format, and the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals on January 11, 2024. The highly anticipated final is scheduled for January 13, 2024.
