Kannur Lokesh Rahul (KL Rahul) was born in Mangalore on 19 April 1992. He made his first-class debut for Karnataka in the 2010-11 season and in the very same season, he made his debut in the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in which he scored 193 runs.
In 2013 he made his debut in the Indian Premier League playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is also the first triple centurion for Karnataka and following his performance in domestic cricket he was called for the India tour of Australia.
The Karnataka wicket-keeper made his international debut in a test match against Australia and since then there has been no looking back. In his second test match, he scored a ton in the first innings opening with Murali Vijay and made 110 runs. He is also the first Indian to score a ton as an opener in West Indies. He has made more than 2000 runs with 5 hundred and 11 half-centuries in tests.
Rahul made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2016 and is the first Indian batsman to score a ton on an ODI debut and has made 1509 runs in the format so far with 5 tons and 9 half-centuries. He made his T20 debut against the same team and has so far scored 1,557 runs in the shortest format with 2 tons and 11 half-centuries.
Currently, he is the fastest batsman to score centuries in all three formats. Cricketers and fans from all over the world wished him success in his life.
