PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS remains the company’s strongest title. The PC version saw a noticeable jump in revenue, supported by high-profile collaborations with:

  • K-pop artists aespa
  • G-DRAGON
  • Luxury car brand Bugatti

On mobile, engagement stayed high thanks to new themed modes, progressive outfits, and regional content updates. BGMI saw strong growth in India due to localized skins, events, and improved in-game services.

The “others” segment saw a 131% year-on-year boost, mainly powered by ad-tech growth from Krafton’s subsidiary Neptune.

PUBG IP Expansion and Future Plans

Krafton is working on evolving the PUBG universe into a PUBG 2.0 gameplay platform, with key updates including:

  • Unreal Engine 5 upgrade
  • New gameplay modes
  • User-generated content (UGC) support

The aim is to strengthen PUBG as a long-term franchise, not just a standalone title.

Alongside this, Krafton is developing new franchise IPs, with 11 game projects currently in production. One of the most anticipated titles is Palworld Mobile, which will be showcased at G-STAR 2025 in Busan for the first time.

Strengthening the Esports and India Strategy

Krafton shared that BGMI is now firmly established as India’s national esports title. The company plans to:

  • Expand esports tournaments in India
  • Support local developers
  • Enhance server and content localization
  • Increase opportunities for underdog teams

Krafton has already invested around KRW 300 billion into India’s gaming and entertainment ecosystem.

The company also recently acquired a majority stake in Nautilus Mobile, the studio behind Real Cricket, and will now take over publishing duties for Real Cricket 24.

Advancing Toward “AI First”

Krafton announced plans to integrate advanced AI tools across development and game experiences. The company has:

  • Built a KRW 100 billion GPU cluster
  • Partnered with SK Telecom to create a 5-billion-parameter AI foundation model
  • Begun work on Co-Playable Characters (CPCs)

The first CPC, PUBG Ally, is expected to launch in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Arcade Mode in the first half of 2026.
