Delhi Capitals spinner Kuldeep Yadav was fired up during the second innings of the ongoing IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Gujarat Titans openers Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill were off to a strong start, putting pressure on Delhi as they chased the target of 200 runs. The pair has been in good form, playing confidently with the bat.

Kuldeep Yadav’s Fiery Reaction to Umpire’s Decision

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan put on 59 runs in the powerplay, dominating the game. With Delhi Capitals under pressure, captain Axar Patel brought Kuldeep Yadav into the attack in the 8th over. On his first ball, Kuldeep almost picked up a wicket.

He bowled a delivery on middle and leg, which Sai Sudharsan tried to flick but missed. At first glance, it looked like an out, but umpire Keyur Kelkar called it not out. Delhi Capitals quickly reviewed the decision with DRS.

The ball tracking showed the umpire’s call was not out, and Sudharsan was given a reprieve. Kuldeep Yadav was furious when he saw the decision on the big screen. His face turned red with anger as he walked up to umpire Keyur Kelkar and appeared to say something to him.

Sai Sudharsan played a fantastic knock, scoring a brilliant half-century to keep his great form going in the tournament. He and Shubman Gill put together a 150-run partnership, with both players scoring fifties, putting pressure on the Delhi Capitals.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals had a good batting performance. Though they lost Faf du Plessis early, KL Rahul continued his great form and batted through the innings, helping his team set a strong total.

KL Rahul scored his fifth IPL century in 2025, making an unbeaten 112 runs off 65 balls. He had a strike rate of over 172 and hit 14 fours and 4 sixes. This was his first century for Delhi Capitals.

Rahul got good support from Abishek Porel (30), Axar Patel (25), and Tristan Stubbs (21\*). Thanks to their combined effort, Delhi Capitals finished with a total of 199 runs.
