In a thrilling encounter, FC Barcelona reclaimed the third spot in La Liga with a stellar 1-0 home victory over Atletico Madrid. Joao Felix, on loan from Atletico, showcased his prowess by netting the sole goal, marking Barcelona’s standout first-half performance in weeks (Xinhua report).

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continued their reign at the top of La Liga after a convincing 2-0 win against Granada. Brahim Diaz capitalized on a rebound in the first half, and Rodrygo sealed the deal with the second goal. Granada, dealing with an early goalkeeper injury, failed to register a shot on target in Alexander Medina’s coaching debut.

Girona orchestrated another late-game comeback, triumphing 2-1 over Valencia. Despite Hugo Duro putting Valencia ahead, substitutes Cristhian Stuani and Yan Couto orchestrated two crucial goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes.
