The BWF Rankings is the official ranking of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) for badminton players who participate in tournaments sanctioned by the world governing body of the sport.

The BWF Rankings are the official rankings of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) for badminton players who participate in tournaments sanctioned by the world governing body of the sport. It is used to determine the qualification for the World Championships and Summer Olympic Games,as well as BWF World Tour tournaments.

The 2025 BWF World Tour is the eighth season of the BWF World Tour of badminton, a circuit of 29 tournaments that lead up to the World Tour Finals tournament.

Seedings of draws at all BWF-sanctioned tournaments are conducted using the BWF World Ranking.

As of now, Shi Yuqi of the People’s Republic of China remains firm at No. 1 in the men’s ranking in the latest update on 1 April, 2025 (Tuesday), which he has held onto since June 2024.

Olympic champion An Seyoung tops the women’s rankings. She is South Korea’’s first female singles No.1 since Atlanta 1996 Olympic champion Bang Soohyun.
