Aston Villa secured a stunning 1-0 victory over Manchester City on Wednesday night, with Leon Bailey scoring the decisive goal that propelled Villa to the third spot in the Premier League table. Bailey’s remarkable solo effort saw him surge forward from the halfway line, navigating past the City defense, and delivering a shot from the edge of the penalty area that found the net after a slight deflection.
Unai Emery’s side demonstrated their excellent form throughout the match, deserving the win against a struggling City defense. The goal was a just reward for Villa, who could have extended their lead further.

McTominay’s first goal came in the 19th minute after Harry Maguire’s shot was blocked, and despite Cole Palmer leveling just before halftime, McTominay secured the win with a powerful header from a corner in the 69th minute.
