Premier League side Manchester United is genuinely interested in signing Antony. The Brazilan winger plays for a Dutch club named Ajax. Right-winger Antony is a talented player who has played under Erik ten Hag (Manchester United manager). Erik knows him (Antony) well and he has improved him a lot.

It seems Erik ten Hag wants the winger in the Premier League side especially when they have missed out on their target Darwin Nunez who joined Liverpool on a six-year deal. According to an Italian football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are genuinely interested in Antony and the deal could be done this summer.

“Manchester United have a genuine interest in Antony, of course, Erik ten Hag knows him so well – still no-bid just internal discussions,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Monday, 13th June.

Antony was one of the important players of Erik ten Hag in Ajax and the Brazilian also knows how good the manager is, so it seems he wouldn’t have any problem in getting touch with Erik again. There are still so many things to sort out for Manchester United before making a bid for the winger as they are just having an internal discussion currently. United are also pushing for Frenkie de Jong.
