Manoj Prabhakar (born 15 April 1963) is a retired Indian cricket player. He played as a lower-order batsman, and right-arm medium-pace bowler, and occasionally started the innings for his country’s cricket team until retiring in 1996. Prabhakar has been accused of participating in match-fixing by the BCCI and disqualified from playing cricket for the Indian side.
Manoj Prabhakar, an Indian right-arm medium-pace bowler who debuted in an ODI in April 1984 in Sharjah against Sri Lanka, proved to be a useful batter later down the order. He had match stats of 10-3-16-2, signifying the immediate impact he made. In the Test team for the England home series, Prabhakar made his international debut at his home field, Feroz Shah Kotla.
