During a quick-fire segment on JioCinema’s show, hosted by Aakash Chopra, Mayank Agarwal delved into the off-field personas, quirks, and habits of his fellow squad members, shedding light on their unique qualities.

When quizzed about the gym enthusiast within the team, Mayank humorously acknowledged himself but conceded that Virat Kohli’s commitment surpassed his own. He stated, “I believe I am a gym enthusiast, although not to the extent of Virat Kohli.”

Mayank identified Indian pace bowler Umran Malik as the most active social media user among the players, while he tagged wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul as the epitome of calm and composure within the squad.

Mayank expressed admiration for Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s analytical prowess and cricketing knowledge, predicting him to be a future commentator. Regarding the funniest player in the team, Mayank pointed to Ishan Kishan, noting, “I haven’t spent much time with him, but he’s quite the humorous fellow.”

On a personal note, Mayank considered himself the team’s most talkative member, emphasizing, “I enjoy conversing, though not in a sledging manner. It keeps me engaged in the game.”

When asked about the eternal optimist within the team, Mayank mentioned Vidwath Kaverappa, a Karnataka First-Class player, describing him as highly positive.

Additionally, Mayank recalled Hanuma Vihari, who has been absent from the Indian cricket team for an extended period, as the team’s foremost cricket enthusiast.
