After the win, Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had a typically Hyderabadi way of congratulating Siraj on social media. Taking to X, Owaisi wrote, “Always a winner @mdsirajofficial! As we say in Hyderabadi, poora khol diye Pasha!” The phrase loosely translates to Siraj being completely dominant and at the top of his game.

Mohammed Siraj responded to the praise with a heartfelt reply, saying on X: “Thank you so much sir Always cheering for me.”

Moeen Ali Applauds Siraj’s Grit and Growth

The praise for Mohammed Siraj hasn’t stopped there. Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali also had high words for the Indian pacer, pointing out what makes him such a tough opponent.

“Siraj has been outstanding in the England series. The energy, aggression, and consistency he brings with the ball is world-class. He’s matured into a genuine match-winner for India, and it’s always a challenge for batsmen facing him,” Moeen said in a statement released by GFS Developments.

He went on to say, “What impresses me most is his ability to control the ball. He’s got a big heart and never backs down – that’s what makes him so special. Credit to him for the impact he’s making.”

Mohammed Siraj played all five matches in the series and bowled a massive 185.3 overs, showcasing not just his skills but also his incredible fitness and commitment to the team.
