The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is one of the biggest tournaments in the cricketing world, and its 10th edition will take place in England, with 12 teams and 33 matches, from 12th June to 5th July 2026. This year, many records will be set and many surpassed. One of the most important records is the most runs in a single edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. With a fantastic strike rate of 125.12, at an average of 64.75, the highest total of the series came on 27th February 2020 against Bangladesh, with an unbeaten 81-run innings off 58 balls, including 8 fours, and her masterclass innings took AUS-W to 189/1 in 20 overs, and she was the highest run-getter of the season.

Meghann Moira Lanning, a right-handed Australian batter, is a top-order batter, and due to her fierce batting style, she stands at number 2 on this record. With 257 runs in 6 innings at an average of 42.83 and a strike rate of 158.64, along with 33 fours and 8 sixes throughout the series.

Lanning’s highest score of the season came when she smashed a blistering 126 runs in 65 deliveries against IRE-W at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh, in the 4th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup, and her innings became the reason for a huge 78-run victory for AUS-W.
