MS Dhoni-starrer Chennai Super Kings are having a tough time in the current IPL season. The five-time champions, known for winning even in tough situations, have struggled and won only a few of their eight matches so far.
MS Dhoni Shares a Hilarious Rumour About Himself
Despite the poor performance, fans are still happy because they get to see the legendary MS Dhoni leading the team again. After regular captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out with an elbow injury, Dhoni stepped in as captain and has given fans some memorable moments.
Recently, MS Dhoni attended a promotional event where he shared a funny story about himself. When the anchor asked him about the most ridiculous rumour he had ever heard, Dhoni gave a hilarious answer that had everyone laughing.
Dhoni replied, “I drink five litres of milk a day.” The anchor was surprised to find out that this statement was actually false.
“I used to drink, maybe, a litre of milk spread throughout the day. But four litres – it’s a bit too much for anyone,” Dhoni further said.
Dhoni Denies the Lassi Washing Machine Rumour
The anchor then asked Dhoni about a rumour that the former India captain used to make lassi in a washing machine. Dhoni denied that too, saying he doesn’t drink lassi at all.
For those who don’t know, there was a popular belief when Dhoni made his debut in 2004-05 that his energy came from drinking five litres of milk every day.
Speaking about CSK, after their recent loss to Mumbai Indians, Dhoni gave a big hint about the team’s plans for next year.
“Those are the question marks we have got, few catches and that will help. Other than that we are just trying to plug in the holes, with all the games that are in front of us that we are supposed to win, we just take it one game at a time and if we lose a few, what will be important for us is to get the right combination for next year. You don’t want too many players getting changed, what will be important is to try and qualify, but if not get a secured 11 for next year and come back strong,” Dhoni had said during the post-match presentation.
