“This mecha body is surviving” MS Dhoni Retirement Speculations Postponed

Having won the toss, when Ravi Shastri quizzed Dhoni on his IPL career, the former India skipper gave an emotional and honest reply. Dhoni stated:

“This mecha body is surviving. Every year is a new challenge. It requires a lot of maintenance. I did not have enough trouble when I was playing international cricket.”

This emotional remark by MS Dhoni indicated the physical problems he now encounters, but importantly, he did not announce retirement, giving the fans hope about his return during the following IPL season.
