The Next Gen ATP Finals 2025 is scheduled from 17–21 December in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where eight of the brightest young stars in men’s tennis hit the court for the end-of-season glory.
The event will be hosted at at King Abdullah Sports City.
There will be two returning stars from a year ago: Czechia’s Jakub Mensik, who didn’t make it out of the 2024 round-robin phase, and American Learner Tien, last year’s runner-up.
They will be joined by Alexander Blockx of Belgium, Dino Prižmić of Croatia, Martin Landaluce of Spain, Nicolai Budkov Kjær of Norway, Nishesh Basavareddy of the United States and Rafael Jodar of Spain.
This is the third straight year Jeddah has played host to the event, which includes a who’s who of past champions such as Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The Next Gen ATP Finals is a men’s exhibition tennis tournament for the eight highest-ranked singles players on the ATP Tour that season who are aged 20 and under.
Next Gen ATP Finals 2025: Format
The eight-player field is split into two groups of four, with each player contesting three round-robin matches. The top two players from each group advance into knockout semi-final and final rounds.

Matches are best-of-five sets but only to four games each. If two players are tied, their head-to-head record in the tournament is used as the primary tie-breaker; if three players are tied, they are split by percentage of sets won, then percentage of games won, and then finally head-to-head records.
If competitors still cannot be separated after the above criteria are applied, their ATP Ranking is used to determine their placement.
