Novak Djokovic surpassed Roger Federer’s record of the most week spent as World Number 1 in the official ATP rankings on Monday. Federer recorded 310 weeks as World Number 1 player while Novak Djokovic just started his 311th week as number 1 player and surpassed Federer.

As per the reports of Serbia, Djokovic will throw a party in his hometown Belgrade on this historic achievement. The record deserves a celebration as it now denotes Novak Djokovic as the all-time best in the world of Tennis.

Also, Novak Djokovic won his 18th Grand Slam Title in the recent Australian Open Tournament. After which he flew back to Belgrade for a medical examination of the abdominal tear that he suffered during his Melbourne campaign.  The 33-year-old is expected to be in the Serbian capital for the next few days.

Novak Djokovic currently heads the ATP rankings with a huge tally of 12,030 points, which is 2,180 points more than the next best-ranked player Rafael Nadal.
