NZ-W vs WI-W, the fourth match of the group stage of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the first innings of the match ended with a score of 162, with the loss of 6 wickets. Isabella Gaze gave a crucial contribution of 39(29), Sophie Devine scored 22(15), Brooke Halliday’s 40-run contribution in just 32 balls, and Maddy Green’s sharp finishing of 35*(22) led New Zealand to a score of 162.  Aaliyah Alleyne took crucial 4 wickets with an economy of 6.75. Also,  the West Indies bowling unit displayed great domination throughout the innings, stopping NZ-W from setting a high total, and the target to chase for the West Indies women was 163.

In NZ-W vs WI-W, the second innings began with a wicket for NZ-W, as due to a lack of communication, Qiana Joseph got run out. She scored 2(4). On the other side, Hayley Matthews was looking calm and composed, as both the batters, Hayley and Shemaine Campbelle, took the match forward with a strategy of scoring singles and doubles, and hitting boundaries only on loose deliveries. After 6 overs, West Indies were at 35/1, with Hayley Matthews on 17*(16) and Shemaine Campbelle on 11*(16).

NZ-W vs WI-W, after a wicket loss in the powerplay, the middle overs began with a blistering 13 runs in the 7th over, where Hayley Matthews hit 3 boundaries, followed by 8 runs from the 8th over and 8 runs from the 9th over, and the scoreboard was moving smoothly. But on the 4th ball of the 12th over, Jess Kerr dismissed Hayley Matthews. She got out after giving a crucial contribution of 48(37).

NZ-W vs WI-W, after the middle overs, NZ-W were under pressure as WI-W needed 37 runs from 24 balls, and the chase was looking very easy for the West Indies women, as Shemaine Campbelle was in destructive form. 10 runs came from the 17th over, 13 runs came in the 18th over, and 10 runs came from the 19th over. In the 20th over, WI-W needed only 4 runs from 6 balls. Shemaine Campbelle and Jahzara Claxton clinched the chase, and West Indies won by 7 wickets.
