Official: Casemiro bids farewell to Real Madrid
Casemiro has joined Manchester United for the fee around €60 million plus add-ons.
Manchester United’s central defensive midfielder (CDM) Casemiro has officially bid farewell to Real Madrid. The Brazilian midfielder has left the La Liga side after so many years. The 30-year old Brazilian wanted some new challenge and was tempted by Manchester United’s offer.
Casemiro was in coat and gave an emotional farewell speech in front of whole Real Madrid club members. Their president Florentino Perez, manager Carlo Ancelotti, all of his former teammates were present in this room where he bid farewell to the La Liga giants.
Casemiro won UEFA Champions League this season with Real Madrid and not only Champions League but also La Liga and UEFA Super Cup. Casemiro has joined the club where the rebuilding is going on (Manchester United) and they have just signed a new manager Erik ten Hag who is trying his level best to make United the club they were before.
Defensive-midfielder Casemiro won’t be featuring in the next game of Manchester United which is against Liverpool on Monday night, 22nd August because he wasn’t registered for the game. According to some official reports, Casemiro will present in the stands of Old Trafford on Monday in the game between Man United and Liverpool.
