Official: Matthijs de Ligt joins Bayern Munich from Juventus
Bayern Munich has signed a new centre-back Matthijs de Ligt from Serie A side Juventus.
Bayern Munich has made another signing of the summer as they have announced Matthijs de Ligt as their new defender. The central defender was bought from Italian giants Juventus FC this summer. Bayern Munich has finally made this official after the deal was agreed a few days ago (as reported by Fabrizio Romano).
Bayern Munich kept Matthijs de Ligt as their priority of this summer and they did manage to find an agreement with the player as well as the clubs. Juventus FC didn’t want him (Matthijs de Ligt) to leave the club but the player wanted some new challenge this year. He also wanted Bayern only despite knowing there are other clubs following him. Chelsea were too interested in the centre-back, but the player’s first choice was Bayern Munich.
Matthijs completed his medical and signed all the paperworks required to complete this deal on Monday. Nagelsmann would love his new defender as the fans are excited to know the defensive partnership he will make now. Juventus after losing their one of the best defenders are now looking to buy a new one. Pau Torres and N’dicka has been in the list as per some reports.
