Cody Rhodes will face John Cena at WrestleMania 41 in the main event. The big match is for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and fans are very excited. Cody has now completed one full year as the champion, which is a big milestone in WWE.

Cody Rhodes: One Year as Champion

Cody returned to WWE just three years ago at WrestleMania 38. Since then, he has become one of the most loved babyfaces (good guys) in the company. He didn’t win the title at WrestleMania 39, but he finally won it the next year and proved that he belongs at the top.

Now, at 39 years old, Cody has held the championship for 12 straight months, which is rare for a babyface. Most babyfaces don’t get such long title reigns, but Cody has earned his spot as the face of WWE.

A Huge Test: John Cena

At WrestleMania 41, Cody will face John Cena, one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. Cena is aiming to become a 17-time World Champion, which would break Ric Flair’s record. This makes the match even more special.

Fans know Cena will give everything he has to win. But Cody has shown he’s not afraid of pressure. This could be one of the biggest matches in WrestleMania history.

Behind-the-Scenes Clash: Cody vs Cena

Cody recently shared in an interview that he and John Cena had a real disagreement backstage. Cena once told Cody that he didn’t think he was “authentic” enough — meaning not real or believable like Cena was in his time.

But Cody didn’t agree with him. He said:

“One of the biggest disagreements John Cena and I have had, and we had this disagreement behind the scenes, and we had this disagreement right in front of the camera. He feels that I’m not authentic enough, or as authentic as he was. I think at this point, I’m pretty confident in who I am, and I feel like I’ve got a proven track record.”

This shows that even top stars don’t always see eye-to-eye. But Cody believes in himself and thinks he has proved who he is inside the ring.

What Happened on RAW?

On last week’s episode of RAW, fans saw a heated moment between Cody and Cena. They had a strong back-and-forth, and it ended with Cody taking down Cena in the ring. Now fans are wondering will Cena strike back before WrestleMania 41?
