The Indian pair of Krishna and Vishnu lost the finals at Orleans Masters to the England’s world no.18 Ben Lane and Sean Vendy. They lost 21-19, 14-21, 19-21 in a 56-minute battle with the fourth seeds.

This was the first time Krishna and Vishnu were paired together . It was first international event at senior level for  20 year old Vishnu Vardhan. Krishna is India’s no.1 ranked double player. The debutant pair defeated the England’s Callum Hemming and Steve Stallwood in the semifinals. They dominated the semifinal as it only lasted for 35 minutes.

This pair was India’s last hope at the Orleans Masters as 2016  Olympic Bronze Medalist Saina Nehwal was crashed out of the semifinals. The pair of Dhruv Kapila and Ashwini Ponnappa also failed to make it to finals as they lost to Niclas Nohr and Amalie Magelund of Denmark.

The 20 year old Vishnu thanked Gopi Sir and other coaching staffs to put efforts on their new pairing and help us a lot.
